Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 5 October 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of ThaiNepali.com and any official Thai Nepali mobile application that links to these terms.

Thai Nepali is the English edition of ThailandNepal.com and is published and operated by Sisne Himal Media Pvt. Ltd., Kirtipur–8, Kathmandu, Nepal.

“We,” “us,” and “our” refer to Sisne Himal Media Pvt. Ltd.

1. Using Our Services

Please read these terms before using our website or app. If you do not agree to them, please stop using our services.

Additional terms may apply to particular services, advertising arrangements, or paid features. These will be provided before you enter the relevant arrangement.

2. Responsible Use

You must use our services lawfully and respect the rights of others.

You must not:

  • Threaten, harass, impersonate, or defraud another person.

  • Submit unlawful, defamatory, or privacy-infringing material.

  • Knowingly submit fabricated information as a genuine news tip.

  • Upload malware or attempt unauthorised access.

  • Disrupt our services or bypass security and access restrictions.

  • Use interactive features for spam or unauthorised advertising.

3. News and Editorial Content

We aim to publish accurate, fair, and useful reporting. News can develop after publication, and articles may reflect information available at their publication or last update.

We may correct, update, or remove content when appropriate. We do not guarantee that every article will remain current indefinitely.

Opinions expressed by contributors, interviewees, or readers do not necessarily represent our views. Reporting an allegation does not establish that it is true.

Please report possible errors by sending us the article link and supporting information.

4. General Information

Our content is provided for news and general information. It does not replace professional legal, medical, financial, immigration, or other specialist advice.

For decisions requiring specialist advice, consult a qualified professional or the relevant official authority.

5. Copyright and Content Use

Rights in our original articles, logos, photographs, graphics, videos, and other protected material belong to Sisne Himal Media Pvt. Ltd. or the relevant rights holders.

You may read our content for personal use and share links to our articles.

Unless permitted by applicable law or an express licence, you must obtain permission before reproducing, translating, republishing, distributing, or commercially exploiting protected content.

Giving credit alone does not grant permission to reproduce an entire article, image, or video. These terms do not restrict lawful copyright exceptions or rights in unprotected facts.

For licensing or republication enquiries, contact news@thailandnepal.com.

6. Reader Contributions

When submitting comments, photographs, articles, videos, or other material for publication, you confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions.

You retain ownership of your contribution. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to reproduce, format, edit, translate, and distribute it as reasonably necessary to publish it through our services and related coverage.

This licence does not transfer ownership or authorise unrelated commercial resale. Separate agreements may apply to commissioned work.

Private correspondence and confidential tips are not automatically submissions for publication.

We may decline or remove contributions that breach these terms, infringe rights, or are unsuitable for publication. Submission does not guarantee publication or payment unless agreed separately.

7. Accounts

Where accounts are available, you must provide accurate information and protect your login credentials.

Notify us if you suspect unauthorised use. You must not access another person’s account without permission.

We may restrict an account where reasonably necessary to address unlawful activity, security risks, or breaches of these terms. Where practicable and lawful, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact us about the decision.

8. Advertising and External Services

Our services may display advertisements, sponsored content, external links, or embedded third-party material.

Paid editorial placements should be identified. An advertisement or link does not, by itself, constitute our endorsement.

Third-party purchases and services are subject to the relevant provider’s terms. We do not control their websites or guarantee their accuracy, availability, or security. This does not exclude responsibilities imposed on us by law.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

Acceptance of these terms does not replace separate consent where consent is required for cookies, marketing, or other processing.

10. Mobile Applications

Use of our official apps is also subject to applicable app-store rules.

You can manage optional notifications and device permissions through the available app or device settings. Your connectivity and mobile data charges remain your responsibility.

Updates may be required to maintain security, compatibility, or access to particular features.

11. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep our services accessible but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Maintenance, technical problems, and updates may affect access. We may change features and will provide reasonable notice of material changes where practicable.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control or your unlawful use of our services.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Mandatory consumer rights and other statutory protections remain unaffected.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, subject to any mandatory laws and protections that apply to you or our activities in another jurisdiction.

Please contact us first about a dispute so we can try to resolve it. This does not prevent you from approaching a competent court, regulator, or other legally available dispute-resolution body.

14. Updates to These Terms

We may revise these terms as our services or legal obligations change. The updated version will display a revision date.

We will provide appropriate notice of material changes and obtain agreement where legally required. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights relating to earlier events.
